Publishing Inc. (GDT-Nova) Targets
Small to Medium-Sized Newspapers with Online Publishing Suite
June,
22, 2004: ComScript Publishing Inc. (GDT-NOVA) announces the launch
of a low-cost, online classified advertising suite. Similar in function
to the AdEZ (www.orlandosentinel.com)
and AdEZLite (www.adn.com)
classified applications, AdEZExpress™ provides a full-service,
remote ad entry solution for the smaller daily, weekly, and monthly
publications.
Specifically
targeted for properties with smaller ad revenues, AdEZExpress
allows a newspaper client to create a classified advertisement for
both print and online publishing through one easy application.
AdEZExpress
allows an advertiser to attach a photo, select a number of art and
animated upsells and preview both the print and online ad prior
to paying for the ads with a credit card. The Classified sales staff
can edit customer accounts, provide live technical support, and
even assist in the submission of an online ad. Financial reporting
is provided to track the ad placement process and online revenue
generation. Scheduling is provided by an intuitive calendar function
that enforces the newspaper's deadlines.
"The
smaller circulation daily, weekly and monthly publications provide
a valuable service to the publishing industry," said Jan McDonald
of ComScript Publishing Inc. "Finding a cost-effective way to enhance
their online revenue-generation has long been a goal for us. Thanks
to current technology, we can provide that service at a price they
can afford."
AdEZExpress
™ is available in a hosted or standalone model. Purchasing options
include a monthly ASP model or Capital Purchase Plan. The product
can be purchased and installed live within thirty (30) working days
and sells for under $10,000.00.
